What is LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) Flooring?

Luxury vinyl flooring is a type of flooring that mimics the look of natural materials like hardwood, stone, or ceramic tile, but with the added benefits of durability, moisture resistance, and ease of maintenance. It is made of several layers, including a wear layer, a printed design layer, and a backing layer, all of which work together to create a strong and resilient flooring option. Luxury vinyl flooring can come in planks or tiles, and can be installed in a variety of settings, from the kitchen to the bathroom.

Durable

You can have the beautiful look and natural finish of wood or stone as well as a hard wearing surface. Luxury vinyl tiles and planks are designed for living and are perfect for busy homes.

Easy to clean

These floors have a non-porous surface which gives germs nowhere to hide so you can keep your home beautifully clean with just a sweep and mop which makes it easy to keep your busy home clean.

100% Waterproof

Accidents happen but with Karndean you don’t need to worry. A water resistant surface shrugs off spills and stains without warping so you can rest assured that if anything gets dropped you can simply wipe it up.

Combine with underfloor heating

LVT floors are already cosy underfoot but we all love a little extra comfort and warmth so it’s good to know that Karndean can be installed over underfloor heating systems, providing they have been insulated so that the surface temperature does not exceed 27°C.

We have a variety of LVT samples available to view in our showroom so visit us today for more information.
